Double UP – Yes, you usually can use a grocery store coupon with a brand coupon. So if you clip one coupon from the newspaper, and one out of your local grocery store ad, you should be able to use them both!

Match Coupons and Sales – You should also be able to use your coupons on items that are already on sale. You should also be able to use 2 coupons on 2 – 1 offers, because both items really count as a sale.

Orgainze Your Own Coupon Parties – You can get together with neighbors to trade coupons, and also give each other great tips. You could give away a coupon organizer as a door prize to keep people interested.

Coupons are Not just for Groceries – You can find lots of department store coupons that can save you money on clothes and appliances.

Organize Your Coupons and Watch Expiration Dates - I am not a great organizer, but I do find that one of those small coupon wallets helps a lot. I try to keep mine in the car so I have it on hand when I stop for groceries. After all, no coupons will do any good if they are not on hand!

Don’t be a Coupon Slave – If you have a coupon for something you do not normally buy, consider trading that instead of using it. It may sound silly, but sometimes the idea of getting a great deal overrides our judgement!
