Love the Texas Gulf Coast – Except During Hurricane Season?

There is nothing like the peace, beauty, and friendliness of the Texas gulf coast, and many homeowners are lucky enough to live near the many miles of coastline. Lucky that is, except during hurricane season. Hurricane Ike is still fresh in our minds, even after many months. Why wouldn’t it be? In the best cases we lost power and phone service for weeks. In the worst cases, people lost their homes. Many unlucky people even lost their lives.

High Risk Texas Homeowners Insurance

After all of the billions of dollars of damage, it can be impossible for some homeowners to find Texas Homeowners Insurance, except through a high risk agency like Texas Windstorm. These insurers are set up to insure people who just cannot find coverage any where else.

I certainly hope that this hurricane season gives us a break, and we just get to enjoy those beautiful summer and fall days that the Texas gulf coast is famous for. But if not, and you do need to evacuate, make sure you don’t lose anything in the next storm!
