A day spent over the grill or smoker does not mean you have to cook up slices of meat! These days, we are moving towards healthier, greener, and more humane choices, and you can actually prepare a delightful barbecue dinner without using any animal products at all!
I know I got some great ideas when I ate some Asian grilled food at a local festival. They grilled sweet potatos, carrots, and even bananas! It was great! It would be easy to make a filling and tasty meal out of the produce section at your supermarket. If you are creative, you probably already have some great ideas. If you still are not sure what to do, you can get some great ideas here –> 4th of July Vegetarian Barbecue Ideas.
You may not need much dessert either because a lot of the ideas here have a lot of natural sweetness. But our easy 4th of July Dessert will leave kids and grandparents happy. It has jello, pound cake, and wipped topic – that’s it! If you are vegan, you can find non-dairly whipped topping and a vegan pound cake recipe. Otherwise, use frozen pound cake for great results.
Do you have any ideas for a great vegetarian grilled feast? We’d love for you to comment.
