What a pity when one stumbles upon a gambler whose dashed hopes destroyed his life and that of his children; especially when he loses as the majority does in their mad race of guessing the right numbers. And even when a gambler wins, which is not very frequent, it is very likely that his gains will probably revert back to the wheel of chance.
The gambler spirit is full of inconceivable optimism and impossibly complicated designs. He never repents however big his losses are, simply because he keeps hoping. Hope, in the essence, is something good, but under this very circumstance it is sheer madness; the worst stunning fact about the gambler is that he is not conscious of his responsibility as a father; he keeps issuing promises and breaking them until he loses all credibility among his family.
The family breaks up into pieces because he is unable to shoulder his responsibility which leads unavoidably to divorce.
He runs short of money almost all the time; His requests for loans are never-ending and his circle of intimate friends diminishes at an incredible speed.
People start rejecting him, but he swallows his pride and let them stomp on his dignity for the sake of money. Money he would ironically throw in the fathomless pit of misfortune. But one day his prowess comes to an end. Therefore, He either commits suicide or winds up in prison and all what remains for him is a stupid hope of regret that should have come earlier.
