			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We all have drama kings and queens in our lives. You realize who they are! These are the those that get pleasure from creating drama or chaos. They thrive on stirring up battle, including gas to the fire. They&#8217;re in our households, they&#8217;re in our friendships and they are in our workplaces. These are those who search excitement and a focus by taking part in the lead function in drama or what I like to name &#8216;me-ism.&#8217; Have you ever observed how the drama king or queen is at all times the point of interest, playing the sufferer? You probably did this to ME! This happened to ME! It is YOUR fault! Poor ME! You may have seen this before. All of us have. The person within the restaurant who doesn&#8217;t get the proper order and proceeds to get so loud that all the restaurant notices, or the lady on the check out counter who&#8217;s impatient and impolite to the clerk because he&#8217;s a brand new worker learning to run the cash register and is having a sluggish day, or the lovely mother-in-regulation that blows the whole lot out of proportion in order that she has some journey in her life. The list of drama techniques is literally infinite! The good news is, all of us have choice. We wouldn&#8217;t have to play their video games, to be sucked into their drama, their &#8216;me-isms.&#8217; </p>
<p>After you&#8217;ve been working so exhausting to minimize the drama in your life by creating peacefulness and calm, drama may be very noticeable. It truly becomes very uncomfortable to be in the same space with dramatic people. You&#8217;ve to make a choice on whether or not you wish to take part within the drama that is being created or be the silent observer. Being the silent observer means merely that. Let them discuss, rant, rave, blame or whatever they&#8217;re projecting onto you, as &#8216;their&#8217; silent observer. Bear in mind this is THEIR stage, this is their play. They will try their greatest to suck you in by blaming you, it&#8217;s YOUR fault etc. Stand tall, holding your floor and listen. Just listen. No words. Listen. They may bait you by saying one thing about you, it can really feel like a personal attack. That is what they&#8217;re searching for, so that you can play their game, for you to bounce onto their stage and assault back! Once you listen with out including any comments, what you&#8217;re actually doing is putting water on their fire. You see in case you don&#8217;t add the fuel, there isn&#8217;t a longer a hearth! They have nothing to create drama with because there are not any players! Drama kings and queens want players. They need fellow actors and actresses as a way to play their lead role. By you choosing not to take part, they&#8217;ll have nothing to proceed creating drama with. They&#8217;ll in all probability cease the drama and transfer onto another topic. It might however, be gossiping about someone however we can&#8217;t count on two miracles in one day! Drama individuals also create drama by using the poor me pity me routine. <p>As the door opens you should be looking at a place that is utter a total relaxation.  It could be a gorgeous castle, a beautiful well maintained garden with bright sunny weather. You should decide on the most relaxing destination that you can think of as you want to make sure that you choose the most charming and relaxing place that you can think of.</p>
<p>As soon as you have chosen the most relaxing place that you picture you will want to fill your senses with everything around you.  You should enjoy all of the colors and sounds and just immerse yourself in the entire world that you have created in your self relaxation hypnosis. Are there beautiful flowers to smell? Can you run through some crystal clear waters and run your hand over sea shells and neat looking rocks. You want your imagination make your relaxation destination as real as you possibly can to get the best relaxation effects.</p>
<p>Next in the self relaxation hypnosis process is that you should take your time and enjoy every last aspect of the scene that has been created in your mind. Once you get to that “Happy Place” if you will you want feel like you have spent enough time there to have fully relieved the stress of your day. You may not have a lot of time to do this everyday but you will see benefits no matter how long you are able to relax and how often you are able to use your self relaxation hypnosis.</p>
<p>Now there you go, you are able to equip yourself with all that you need to start removing some of the stress of your daily life. <p><strong>Who Has No Trouble? </strong></p>
<p>Have you met some very positive and optimistic people who always have a smile and a nice thing to say? You may think that these people are just so charmed that they never have problems. But nobody gets through a full life with no trouble, and their happiness may have a lot more to do with their mental outlook than the number of problems they have.</p>

<p>I have never met anybody who has not endured some loss or tragedy. Everybody has lost a loved one, been terminated from a job, or had problems with a relationship. Some people suffer stress when confronted with the most minor issues. The dog may shed, the kid may be failing math class, or the car may need repairs. We cannot fix every problem, and we cannot control how everybody else behaves, but we can try to control our own reactions to trouble.</p>
<p><strong>Concentrate on Solutions </strong></p>
<p>If you start to feel panic when confronted with a bad situation, it is important to try to concentrate on the positive side of the issue. This may seem very hard, but you can help yourself by trying to lay out a strategy to handle the situation as well as possible. That way, instead of thinking about the bad news, you are working towards a solution.</p>
<p><strong>See How Other People Do It!</strong></p>
<p>I watched a news program about a terrible situation. Part of an apartment building was ruined in a bad storm. No people were hurt in the storm. Groups of people stood outside speaking with the reporters about their plans for the future.</p>
<p>Some expressed terrible anger and sadness because they had lost their homes, possessions, and had to rely on a community center or family members for shelter. It is easy to understand why these people were upset, and they were probably going through a very normal reaction to loss.</p>
<p>Other people handled the situation very differently. They were just relieved because all of their loved ones and friends were safe and had a comfortable place to go for the next few days. They mentioned their gratitude because their community and family stepped forward to help them. They were already thinking about how they would recover.</p>
<p>I understand the reaction of the first group of people. But I have to say that the second group did themselves a favor by concentrating on the positive. They will be happier and less stressed. And they will be able to concentrate on taking the positive steps that they need to progress towards a better future.</p>
<p><strong>Some Problems Cannot Be Fixed With Positive Thinking </strong></p>
<p>I do not believe that all problems will go away if just try to think good thoughts. People still get sick, companies lay off employees, and storms will ruin homes. But I do believe that we can live happier and healthier lives if we try to concentrate on the positive sides of our lives. One or two things may be very wrong, but there are probably many more things that are going well. You can satisfy yourself by meeting small milestones because you know that tomorrow will be better.</p>

<p><strong>Swimming With The Tide!</strong></p>
<p>While in middle school I vacationed with my family in Cartejena Columbia. The first evening, we strolled along the pristine beach, enjoying the brillant sunset and roar of the ocean when we suddenly heard cries for help.</p>
<p>In the ocean we spotted a man and two women frantically waving their arms, while the waves washed over them and the tide pulled them further out to sea. An Australian man walking behind us tore off his shoes, and dived in the sea. He managed to save the drowning man. My dad pulled one woman onto the shore. Tragically the second young woman was too far out to save. Helplessly we all watched in horror as this poor woman fight against the tide until a final wave stole her away.</p>
<p>Heartbroken, we met the Australian man and his wife at the hotel restaurant the following morning. As we rehashed the tragedy, I recall the Australian telling us that he swam in the ocean daily. He warned us powerful riptide could easily pull a swimmer to their death. He added this advice for our stay by the ocean:</p>
<p>He said ” If you are caught in a riptide never swim against the tide,because you will tire quickly and be pulled into the sea. Instead you must swim with the riptide, parallel to the shore then you will save your strength and eventually swim out of it.”</p>
<p>Recently my friend and I were co-miserating on the slop bucket of difficulties that seems to have dumped into our lives. “Between my family’s issues, my problems at work, and my husband bad health I feel as though I have a target painted on my head!” she laughed, wiping a tear away.</p>
<p>I understood how she felt throughout the past months had often considered the same thought. Of course, most of us don’t truly believe that an unknown force is out to get us but we all know how it feels to have problems piled up to the point we feel victimized over and over again.</p>
<p>I’ve find comfort in comparing life to a swim in the ocean. One moment you are folicking in the sunshine filled with happiness, feeling that life life is great.</p>
<p>The next minute a riptide shows up. Maybe your riptide comes in the form of your car suddenly dying, or an arguement with your family, or perhaps you find a suspicious lump on your breast. Whatever the difficulty, the riptide of problems starts pulling you into a sea of hopelessness.</p>
<p>When you find yourself caught in a tide of problems, stop fighting against them and try dealing with them by doing the following:</p>
<p>1. Rename the problem. Instead of calling it a “problem” or a “tough situation” or a “rough time” refer to it as a life challenge. A challenge is a dare born with the hope of success. Try this for a day and part of your mental weight will be lifted just by deciding that you will add hope by renaming your difficulty.<br />
2. Calm yourself by not rehearsing self deprecating or self pitying thoughts. Quit thinking “why me?” or “This is so unfair”. Quit saying “I am such an idiot” or ” Bad stuff always happens to me”. Instead, simply accept that this life challenge is your current situation and find peace in knowing that you will deal with it to the best of you abilities.<br />
3. Quit blaming. Blaming is our human way of making sense of difficulties but in the end it doesn’t help us better cope or negotiate a successful way through challenges. Blame is like vearingoff into a maze on the way to a destination. It wastes time and energy. Save your energy for positive coping.</p>
<p>4. Reframe: How bad is it really? Will it matter a year from now? Sometimes when we face a series of consecutive challenges we get into a disaster mindset. Everything seems huge. Take a look at the challenges. Consider what you may learn from experiencing them. Consider how, in the end, they may add richness to the tapestry of your life. Most often, it is the challenges that teach us in life. In the good times, we coast along.<br />
5. Begin journaling about your current challenges. Journaling is a form of meditation. Just taking the time to describe the current challenge can begin to give you a better sense of control and of understanding. Journaling allows you to step outside yourself and systematically piece through challenges. By doing this you may find a new way to deal with or even overcome your current challenge.<br />
6. Pray. You come to this world chosen. You are not alone in your journey through life. Prayer lightens your load because you share it. Pray changes challenges. Ask others to pray for you. There is nothing more powerful than prayer.<br />
Life is full of variety. There are times when everything seems to go smoothly. The sky is full of blue clouds and the sea of life is calm and pleasant. Then, without warning, the sky blackens and a storm kicks up throwing us about with waves of challenges. During challenging times, remember that storms never last forever and a rainbow is always just around the corner.</p>

<p><strong>1. DO &#8211; Be an optimist</strong><br />
Do remind yourself again and again that the whole world is there; ahead of you waiting to be conquered. Your glass should always be half full and never half empty. People may find it difficult to accept a &#8216;career-oriented single woman&#8217;, at work as well at home. If you can&#8217;t change their thinking, then there&#8217;s no point in worrying about what others will think. So many times you worry not because there is an issue but because you have become a habitual worrier. Instead of thinking: &#8216;Will I find a man who will be supportive of my career,&#8217; just go ahead and say yes to the man who will support your career wholeheartedly. You will soon realize that having a positive and optimistic attitude will reap positive results.</p>
<p><strong>2. Don&#8217;t &#8211; Create problems that are not there</strong><br />
Many times your worries are the fruits of your own wild imagination. Can you recall how many times you have thought: &#8216;If only I had the figure of Cindy Crawford, if only I had the energy of a five-year-old, if only my boss wouldn&#8217;t boss, if only the men didn&#8217;t come too close &#8230; &#8216;<br />
The list of &#8216;if only&#8217; seems endless. We have a special stress buster to rid you of all these imagined worries. Set an alarm for 15 minutes and think of all the possible worries that you can. As soon as the alarm goes off, rush to the bathroom and wash down all those thoughts down the washbasin.</p>
<p><strong>3) Do &#8211; Be happy</strong><br />
Happiness is a perfect antidote for stress. Just be happy and watch all that stress vanish into thin air. The most important happiness is intrinsic &#8211; one should be happy with one&#8217;s own self. In fact make it a point that at least once in a day you tell yourself, &#8221; I am happy, I am good and I love myself. &#8221; Chant this mantra and you will see that all those problems that you thought were big are actually trivial. You don&#8217;t need a reason to be happy, but when you feel you do just write down five things that you think are great about yourself or your five greatest achievements. Do you still need a reason to be happy?</p>
<p><strong>4) Don&#8217;t &#8211; Set unrealistic goals</strong><br />
Remember as a kid you were always expected to do things that seemed beyond your capacity and capability like excelling in mathematics while you just hated it, learn swimming when all the time you were scared of water and go win some medals when all that really mattered was that Nancy Drew on the shelf. You could be doing the same thing to yourself like aiming to put a full stop to male female discrepancies in the office, or wanting a double promotion where none is due or waiting for six tall, dark handsome men to propose to you. Remember the story of the hare and the tortoise &#8211; slow and steady wins the race. You too can win the race if you aim for things that are within your reach.
