Would You Like To Watch Movies and TV On Your Home Computer?
I purchased a new laptop, and one of the first thing I noticed was that the monitor had a better display than my tv did! I did, recently, replace that older TV with a newer hi-def tv, but it sits in a fixed position. In other words, my tv cannot go with me into my bedroom, on a plane, or any of the places that my laptop can go.
I had seen some ads for information about watching a tv and movies on my pc. Here are some of the products I researched that may interest you.
Tivo2Go - You can download software that allows you to watch television programs. You can record shows, and then play them back later too.
Official Network Shows Online – You have to be able to connect to the internet while you are watching. But many of the main networks replay their hot shows on websites. If you miss an episode of 24 or Sanctuary, you can usually catch up on the network website.
InTV From AOL - You can find classic television online at AOL’s InTV service. Watch everything from Underdog cartoons to Max Headroom episodes online.
Buy TV or Movies – ITunes is not just for IPODS! You can also watch tv and movies on your computer. Sometimes you have the option to either “rent” (watch it once) or buy (what it whenever you want) movies and tv episodes.
On Demand Television
As an aside, now that I have my digital television with digital cable, tv is beginning to look a lot more like the internet! I have “on demand” channels. Some are free, and some are paid. The qualify of the free content is surprisingly good, with everything from TV specials, good movies that are a bit aged, and lots of children’s programming. The paid movies and programs are competitive with video store rentals, a lot cheaper than movie theatres, and very convenient!
