Does Internet Article Marketing Help Websites Grow?

Asking the question above is like asking if rain helps grass grow. Well, yes it does in the right amount. Of course, rain can also cause floods, and lack of rain can cause a lawn to dry up and die. So, done properly, article marketing can help your online business!

Let’s look at some of the mos important elements of the articles you will submit for online popularity.

Balance Diversity of Article Submissions vs. Duplicate Content Concerns

I have found that some submission websites work very well until I over use them. Then it is time to to take a break from them for awhile, and turn my efforts to another source. So it is important to have a variety of different places to submit articles. Lucky for us, there are plenty of choices. You can use the top article websites, free online blogs, or your own paid websites and blogs. You have so many choices, it should be very easy to spread your work around the internet so that it does not look like all of your website links come from the same place.

Article Spinners – An article spinner helps you create unique articles from one seed article. Some of these are better than others. Most of the fully automatic ones are really awful, and tend to create nonsense. But the semi-automated ones, which allow you to replace words, phrases, or whole paragraphs, can be very good.

Here are a couple of services that submit articles to multiple places, and also have spinners in them:

Unique Article Wizard – This contains a spinner that is simple to use, and it has some other great features that are worth looking into!

Submit Your Artticle – This also contains a spinner and submits articles to dozens of high quality article websites.

Both of these services basically do the same thing, but are still different. Which one do I use? Well, I used SubmitYourArticle first, and really liked it. Then I signed up for UAW because a friend said it worked well. I liked it too. I have to tell you that I use them both. SubmitYourArticle is a bit cheaper, but Unique Aritlcle Wizard submits to more types of places. How to choose….?

Craft the Article Resource Box and Links (BACKLINKS)

Most article submission websites allow you to have an auhor resource box. You can use this box to restate your message, and also to link back to your own website. You do not have to only link to the main page of your website, but should also link to some inner pages that have been targetted to attract visiors from your specific articles.

If you are allowed 2 backlinks, many experts advise you to use one backlink for your main page, and then use one backlink for an inner page (deeplink). I do no think that there is one right answer for every project, but if you are not sure what to do as you begin article marketing, this may be a good guideline.

Craft your anchor text too.

This is the text that will be “clicked” by a visitor who wants to visit your website. It is very important because it has to “talk” to the human visitor and the search engines who may use it to help decide what your website is about! An anchor text of VISIT HERE is not that effective. But an anchor text of “BEST BLUE WIDGETS” would be a better choice if your website is about, of course, big blue widgets.
