Sheridan & Co Retail Design Agency have created a commercial for edgy cosmetics brand Urban Decay. The commercial will be aired on Thomson holiday flights this summer.
Sheridan’s creative team led by Steve Thomas art directed the commercial for Urban Decay which stars world renowned makeup artist and Urban Decay’s worldwide retail director Eric Jimenez.
It marks the conclusion of an impressive and highly original creative campaign, mobilizing in-house specialists and creative designers to produce the televisual advertisement.
“My favourite thing about Urban Decay is the glitter. Most women look amazing with a little sparkle on. And it’s the easiest way to achieve a glam look without overdoing it” says Eric Jimenez.
With the product due to be available on the flight itself, it signifies a unique shift in product placement and advertisers, testing Urban Decay’s new line in the skies.
Urban Decay have been on the forefront in pioneering a new, sassy, punky and edgy aesthetic for female cosmetics. Having worked with Sheridan and Co Retail Design Agency on their award-winning point of purchase display stalls and cabinets, the creative partnership has now extended to the air.
Sheridan & Co Retail Design Agency helped develop the script for the commercial with Eric and brand agents Alex Shafii and Paola Schmid. In addition to Eric’s footage the film features graphic information screens and an animated version of Urban Decay’s Ammo Pattern all created by Sheridan & Co.
Sheridan & Co Retail Design Agency has created in-store environment s for Urban Decay in the UK and Ireland for three years.
